I've not been down there, how comfortable is it for stock Jeeps?

I've been looking for some places to go around the NKY area, but most of my usual places have all been sold off for sub-division development.

However this may be an option if its fairly friendly to us too poor to go big. I've got some things to get this month, mainly tow straps, a decent tool kit, fire extinguisher, ect, but I can't do much with my jeep otherwise until after Christmas.

I am heading up to Dirty Turtle for Labor Day weekend. It is in Bedford, KY off 71. They are only charging $25 for the whole weekend, trails and camping. I am all stock for now and won't be upgrading much until after xmas myself, lol.

I may try out there. I've still got a few tools and things to acquire before I'm ready to go. Should be picking up a few tow straps and a tool kit this weekend.

I would just like to find some trails that I can run stock so I can see what I need to start with.

I went there about a month ago, if you stay on the yellow trails you won't have any problems. We had a good time just toolin' around on the yellow trails. I only paid $15 and it was good for Sat. & Sun.

Its a slight trek for me, but I'll see if I can make it. I assume they also require the buddy system?

I would love to head down there too, but its a 2-3 hour drive for me. That is why I am popping my Jeeps cherry at Dirty Turtle, only 45 minutes of a drive, lol.
