Welcome! Surprisingly there are many of us around the Baton Rouge/New Orleans area. There a few local clubs that you may want to look to joining if you decide to go that route. I know that in LA4x4 they typically do at least one trail ride once a month. We are going for a "work day" this Sunday (20th) then will ride a little afterwards.

Check around, you will find someone I am sure to go wheeling with any time.

See you around.

Is today "not go to work, and drive your jeep"? I left work to head to the doctors office on Perkins Road and seen 3 nice looking JK's.

- Blue Steel Sahara Unlimited jacked up with nice wheels and tires. Always see on Perkins Road.
- White Unlimited with top back parked at the Lake After Hours building on Perkins Road.
- Black Unlimited with maybe 33" with black rims at intersection of Perkins and Bluebonnet.

Good looking rigs guys.

Yeah I see that black unlimited all the time. There is another maroon unlimited lifted at the Shell station on the corner that I see all the time as well. My store is at the corner of Perkins and Bluebonnet. I get to stare out the window at traffic passing by all day, tops down, having fun...while I get to slave away and my poor Jeep has to sit in back of the store bored stiff.

rterese12....I'm in Metairie too, I think I might head out to Hammond in a couple weeks. I'm curious if anyone down here ever goes to Red-Creek off road park in Miss....seems like it might be worth the ride

I work down the road from you - I am between Perkins and College. I am the same way, my desk looks out to Perkins Road and I notice jeeps driving by all day.
