What snorkel did you go with?

Yeah closest 4WP store is Raleigh or Charlotte. Probably best to order because I doubt they stock anyhow.

What does snorkel do from performance standpoint, looks kinda silly, do you actually gain significant horsepower or something?

You get a tiny bit of mpg increase. I just like the looks an if I happen to find myself where I need to cross some water...... I'll be ready. Lol

I ordered my RC quick discos and they shipped them to me within just a couple days. If you order them today or tomorrow you should have them by early or mid next week.

I can't speak from personal experience but I don't think it's so much of a style or performance gain that people get snorkels but for insurance reasons, so that if they end up in deep water or mud hole somewhere they don't have to worry about locking up the engine so a couple hundred dollar snorkel could potentially save several thousand in engine repairs.

I can just unbolt the sway bar and tie it up since I won't have my quick discos before I go right?

I believe that's possible.

Yes you can unbolt the swaybar links. The quick discos are just easier if you offroad often.

I use the JKS quick discos and then use a big zip tie to secure the swaybar to the frame.
