Nashville area here just picked up a 2012 Sahara Tan Rubicon 2 door. Not new to Jeeps though I've have had crawlers cherokees and CJ's YJ's and you name it,But this new 3.6 in the 2012 is LONG overdue. I can't wait to get it out on the trail.

Filling up, resetting the trip meter and when I refill again, I check how many miles vs the gallons purchased. It runs between 13.5 and 14.5 depending on the season (air con vs no air) and how spirited I drive!
When wheeling, it goes WAY down!

I have adjusted for tire size and gears. The gears probably hurt more than the tire size. AT 70mph, I am running at 2800 rpm. I feel like I got the tire size right as my spedo is pretty close to my GPS speed.
I also have the bumper, rock rails, evap skid. each of these add weight so that can't help. I am with you though, I am not as much in a hurry any longer and because of the wind noise, I usually think I am going faster than I actually am.

Would it look funny for me to go ahead and put spacers on with the factory Sahara 18inch on Bridgestone Duelers until its time for new tires???
