Default New Hardtop

Going to pick up a hardtop from a fellow JK-Forum member tomorrow morning. Now, about that wiring harness. I am going all the way down completely topless, so please don't wish for rain!

I never use my back window, just get a tire big enough to cover up the entire back window and there's no need for a rear wiper/squirter/defroster!

I like my hardtop from about now until Sept/Oct, too darn hot and it rains everyday.

I hope there is an ice storm

I had a hard top(traded for a 2nd soft top) and never used the wiper, the window is straight down and no rain is directly hitting it, dont waste your money on the wire harness.

yeah I dont get the hardtop thing in FL at all.....even here in NC its been raining everynight for the past week, I just put the top up, takes 2min and then I can drop it again when it stops, I also never put the rear windows in in the summer, makes putting the top up/down faster, just leave the drain plugs out

here is video of the rain a few nights ago

I think that means we're gonna get the rain next. I bet money that's frontal weather.

You guys are hard. I will post up some pics tomorrow. I pretty much feel the same way about the wiring harness. High 90s and 100% humidity = need hardtop. I also have to respond to emegencies as part of my job, including during tropical storms and hurricanes. I can't imagine 75 to 100 mph winds with a soft top. Not to mention flying debris.

Unplugged the harnes two years ago and has never been hooked up again. The wiper is to small to do any good. Pretend it's a soft top and you'll never know the difference.
