Default New Orleans area: REDCREEK - Saturday, Sept 26

REDCREEK - Saturday, Sept 26

Just seeing if anyone is interested in joining a road-trip to Redcreek for some wheeling this weekend. Last time we did this it was a fun little day trip. Though the trails are tight, there is plenty of room for exploration... sandy terrain, with some dirt & mud as well.

DETAILS:
RedCreek Offroad is in Mississippi, about 2 hours from New Orleans, about an hour north of Biloxi. If anyone is interested, we could caravan to RedCreek and arrive around 10, then wheel until 2 or 3pm. We'll cruise down to Biloxi in the afternoon and hangout at the beach for a few hours, then back to New Orleans in the evening.

RedCreek Offroad
1288 Vestry Rd
Perkinston, MS 39573
ww.redcreekoffroad.com

PRICING:
$30 One Day Pass (Includes Driver & 1 Passenger)
Military / Law Enforcement Rate: $15
$5 for each additional visitor

FYI: RedCreek is in a Dry County, but they seemed to be cool with adult beverages as a long as they are kept low. Be sure to pack a cooler with cold drinks, as well as lunch. Last time we stopped on the way back at a pretty good Mexican Restaurant in Biloxi to re-fuel on carbs after a long day wheeling in the sun and on the beach, so we may do that again. With gas, food, and a day pass it works out to be around $100 bucks for two... not too bad.

Reply back or PM me if you think you would like to go. This is also weather permitting; I'll posts status here the night before. if you just want to meet at RedCreek, post up and we can organize a meet-up there.

Thanks,

Dave

Here are my pics from Catahoula:

It is about three 1/2 hours from NOLA... not a bad drive. You can cruise at 70 the whole way, but be careful in the small towns that have 45 tp 35 MPH... they mean it!

Obviously a shorter drive for those from Northshore or Baton Rouge.
