Default New Park in Auburn, AL

Came accross this park in another forum

http://thegreatamericanpark.com/

It is an old golf course, turned offroad park in Auburn, AL. Unfortunately it looks like it is going to be a big mud park, which I hate. Oh well, at least someone is doing something about the lack of legal wheelin around here.

I played that golf course that used to be there when I was in school. Lets just say as a golf course, it probably makes a pretty good ORV park. Getting golf carts stuck out there was a pretty common occurance.

Too bad this is more suited to the mud crowd. Its reasonably close and I'm always looking for a reason to go back to Auburn and have some Guthries ro a Momma's Love!!

They are putting a Momma goldbergs in Columbus!!!! I might check the place out to see if there is anything reasonable to ride on, there has to be some trails with the trees out there.

Me too! I drank a lot of beer out there. True story...A group of us came up on a guy out there playing golf wearing flip flops, carrying 3 golf clubs and carrying a cooler!

I thought this was always an ORV park with golf optional.

Dang I saw Alabama and then... yes that is a big old mud hole. Could be fun the first time out there. Hard to make 'trails' on golf course. Maybe they bring in some rocks or dig some gulleys or something.

Still fun to play in the mud sometimes.

I checked them out on facebook, appears that there are random areas to drive on, the entire thing is not a bog.

Typical of anyone in Alabama that has a good idea. They redneck it up with a hole, dirt and water.
