Default New to Tennessee!

We just moved from Oklahoma and the Midwest group to the great State of Tennessee and wanted to say hello. Anything going on in TN anytime soon? Are there any trips up to LBL?

welcome to TN. Have ridden at Woolys. Its one of those places that one visit is enough so you can say youve been there done that. Lots of ATVs at that park.

Moved to Clarksville, about 45 miles north of Nashville, off of 24. I may try and hit up LBL sometime this week for something little. Just to check it out. I am currently running stock so I can't get to crazy.

Default LBL trip

Welcome to TN . I'm in Ashland City, about 20 min south of you. If you decide to go to LBL this week let me know. I am off work for the week and would like to go. I like woolys and summertown and there is a new small park in Mcewen. We ride at least once a month. Can always use another jeep in the pack.

Hey guys! New to the forum and the world of off roading with jeeps so please be patient with some of my stupid a%$ questions. I live in Jackson, TN and have just purchased my first Jeep in Feb and I am hooked now! I love this machine!!! I have not done any mods yet but ready to order up some stuff for it!!! In the process of making a top hoist with a friend of mines help. I am also in the maket for a winch and a mounting plate or maybe a whole new bumper and some step bars to block a few of the rocks if possible from beating up my doors and the hinges so badly when I take it off road or just on gravel. I know it will eventually happen but trying to keep it as nice looking as possible since it is my commuter and off road vehicle now! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm in clarksville also. Let me know next time you wanna go up to LBL (turkey bay). I've been the last couple weekends and really really like it up there. Can't wait to go back. There's plenty for the mild and wild. By far the best bang for the buck. $15/per vehicle, not per person like most other places, and that covers ya for 3 days!

Yes Turkey bay is a lot of fun I agree! I have not taken the Jeep up there yet but used to camp and ride dirt bikes and four wheelers all weekend there and you truly can ride all day and never see the same trail! I want to take my jeep but havent been up ther in about 7 years and can't remeber if and wonder how it's changed and if a stock JK can make it around ok without beating it up?
