Anyone have to replace a windshield recently? What price range?

 

I have a $100 deductable for glass. 3 windshields so far. Most people that have to foot the whole bill is $300-$450.

 

About to change mine. $300 is the price I was quoted.

 

Quoted $500 from the dealer, just got it fixed for $295 from a local shop.

That was hardly noticeable cyruspura, why'd you have it fixed? What hit you?

 

Mine was replace after seven days, rock flew up and crack! $50 dect from insurance. It has had a haze on it ever since.

 

224.74 with tax in laurel ms.pauls glass.american produced glass also.included install which took 15 min.

 

I was just told $250 plus tax from Safelite.

check with your insurance co. i have a $100 deductible for a replacement windshield and if its a chip that can be repaired, its free.

i have read many a post about windshields breaking. if you dont have glass coverage, id suggest looking into getting some!
