north east tn meet?
Wife and I drove to Horse Creek today to take a ride. Crossed the first creek went about 50 yards and a tree had fallen across the creek and the trail. No trail riding today.
I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to add something.
I was told Bays Mtn trail is a public road. There are no signs, no gates, and the map shows it as a county road. My buddy and I decided to check it out. We only went in a short disatance before seeing we were close to city property.
I asked about it. A park rep told me that it's actually part of the park and owned by the city. He said the park is planning to get pretty aggressive about keeping people out. My perspective is that most people probably just don't know based on the absence of signage or gates. So, just to spread the word, it is best to stay off this trail.
