Ocala National forest?
Man, as far as getting a camping spot this late in the game... doubtful. I called several private parks in the area. Nada, all the state parks are full too. My fault for waiting so long to make plans to go.
Not a big deal. Going camping the following two weekends anyway. I'll just go and watch the monsters crawl around all day and come home.

Im heading out there this weekend for the day, can anyone point me in the direction of the main ranger station in those parts, i figure they could point me in the direction of some of the shorter trails.
Well the link I posted above is broken now so I don't know. I was told to stop in at the visitors center which is off of 40 going into Ocala. If you're going to be around on Saturday I am contemplating heading out that day and then meeting up with a few forum members for for a ride on Sunday.
Keep me posted.

Ill be out there sat afternoon, im trying to find the rangers station now. I really just want to get a map from them so i can find the trailheads. Were running two trucks so we should be fine
When I checked the website I recall seeing that the ranger station was open only on like monday - friday, and not the weekends. Since, I too wanted to get "big map" and pay my $10, I ended up just printing it out and going with that. Hope this helps.
Cheers
The Ocala National Forest Visitor Center is on Highway 40 just west of the Ocklawaha River Bridge. It is actually on the corner of State Road 40 and County Road 315. You can also purchase maps there that show the designated OHV trails.
Thanks for all the responses guys, I'm going up with my girlfriend to visit her sister who lives about 30 min from ocala but i should be able to rip us away by 1 or 2. If anyone else is gonna be out there about that time lemme kno
