Ocala/Santos from Broward Florida
Going to be leaving Thrus or Fri morning for Ocala area til monday-ish. First time north and bringing my mountain bikes and camping (somewhere). Planning my trip based off what I read from the net soooooo. Looks like a stop in Silver Springs on my way north. Then to Santos bike trails and then to Hard Rock Jeep park. Santos campsites were booked so Ill just hike or camp somewhere in the woods (i prefer this to campgrounds anyway). Not sure If im going to bring my paddle boards. Not sure if allowed at silver springs or worth having them strapped down for the 5hr drive.
Anyone have recommendations for my trip. Places to see, 4x4, bike, or paddleboard. If anyone wants to convoy with let me know.

I did hard rock in December and camped at juniper springs. It was a great campsite about 30 mins ride from hard rock.

It was a great trip. Stayed Thrusday through Mon. I hit Santos Thursday and again on Monday (Vortex)
At hardrock Off road park the staff were great and I locked the bike up with rack to a telephone pole on site. Camped in the woods, some on campgrounds some out in the wild. the camping out in the wild I placed my bike n rack necxt to some cover and locked everything to a tree. Left a note with contact info just in case but no way anyone could accidently find my stuff lol. btw got down to 17f one night, and yes I stayed in a tent .
