I really liked Sea World alot.

I also like a pricey restaraunt called Charlie's out by the Airport. It was close to the Interstate and had the best lobster tail and steak I have ever had, and I have had my share...

Just grabbing a cup and sitting on the main drag watching all the different types of people and all the action happening is worth a couple of hours also.

Daytona Beach. Buy a Beach pass and drive the beach, top down. While you're doing that, call up your frinds in Ohio and ask 'em how the weather is .

Are you going to be near the parks, or UCF side of town?

I like good food, and to be able to have a beer with my meal.

I usually find a local restraunt when I go to a city, they tend to have the best food.

thanks for the info, its the wife and I. She'll be in meetings for a couple hours a day. So I have some free time. I usually drink at the bar if its in the evenings...

I'm not sure if we'll go out to the clubs or not... I go just to get some time away from work.

If you are into the sports bar scene, I used to go to Gators Dockside for wings and gator tail. Unfortunately, the last time I was there, was 2+ years. I looked at their website, and they seem to have branched out. There are 2 locations close to the hotel. When I was there, they had Monday night, all you can eat wings for under $10. They will give you a lot, because I actually sat for 2 hours, and ate 55ish.

Gator's Dockside is a real good choice with a close second being a Beef O'Brady's. Good prices, lots ofcheap menu choices and cold beer.

There's probably a Wing House somewhere around there. They make Hooters girls look like second string.

Howl at the Moon reopened somewhere around I-Drive and Sand Lake Road. If you've never heard of it, it's a dueling piano bar with a definate adult twist. Lots of fun!

Just outside of Orlando there's a BBQ joint called Bubbaloo's. There are two locations with one in Winter Park, I think it's 434 or 436 near 17-92. The building looks like it should be condemned, but it's some good vittles!

For an evening out, try City Walk or Downtown Disney. I'm more partial to City Walk because I'm a mouse hater plus Margaritaville is there. I know it's cliche, but if you go, do try the Cheeseburger in Paradise. If the weather is nice, you can grab a chair at the Lone Palm, right across from it and have some drinks by the water. They have other bars and restaurants, a movie theater and lots of shopping.

Of course there's always Bass Pro at the other end of I-Drive!
