I'm passing through the Ouachita National Forest Saturday on my way back to Texas and looking for scenic trails for a mostly stock Sport. I’ve searched and read that there are many forest service roads and trails in the area, kind of a “pick a dirt road and go,” but I’d like to make the most of my limited time. Any suggestions on specific scenic, 4 lo required trails/roads to fill a day? Camping in the area would be a plus. Also, where do I pick up a Forest Service map while on the road?

 

Just google it, I did that and went to the Ozark National forest. Found the main office on-line and went by to get maps and directions. They were very helpful.
