Pensacola Beach
Going to be down in Pensacola in June for 2 months. Was curious if there is any beaches around there you can drive on? I plan on picking up an Eglin pass when I get there since that seems like the only area of trails around that area that I can find. But was curious on the beach since I'm originally from Central Florida and we have multiple beaches around there we can drive on. On my google search I didn't come up with anything but maybe a local could chime in. Thank you.
I haven't been stationed down there since 2006, but no beach driving that I know of. There's some great off-roading in Crestview. Look up the White Sands Jeep Club, they can point you in the right direction.
thanks for the info, heading down there for C school before I head out to Whidbey so just trying to do some wheeling while I'm there.
Well I won't be there until next month but everything I am hearing is get a pass to go on the Eglin trails by the Eglin afb, seems like the best trails locally and I think only like 45 min or less from nas Pensacola
That's kind of depressing, I take a bunch of Elgin trails into work and they're not that fun :/ maybe have to stem north into Alabama!
Yeah again haven't been there myself yet but I'll be there for 2 months in school which will basically be a vacation from my normal work schedule so I plan to do lots of exploring
