Uh, yeah! Just hang around the "Sunshine State" area of the forum more often and you'll see that you are badly in need in this state!

We even have our own thread called "The Sunshine State Thread" just for us Flor-idiots.

Truthfully though the health care industry is HUGE here in FL, your girl should have no problems whatsoever. The same goes for your job, there are many areas in which your job is in need as well. There are many schools, fire and police departments, corporations that look for IT and other computer specialists.

You guys shouldn't have to much of an issue finding work.

As for the areas to avoid, the guys in Tampa should be able to give you what neighborhoods to stay away from.

Hey you wouldn't want to hook up a college guy with an internship with either of those two would you? Say summer of 2010. I'm a mechanical engineer but I'm picking up a second major in aerospace engineering. Pretty please with mud and dirt on top?

Oh and to the OP we have Shands Hospital up here in Gainesville. I believe they are expanding some and they always need medical staff. If you want to move 2 hours up from Tampa.

 

I don't have any intern availability but I could get you in th e pool for government civilian internship....
