Default Saturday February 27th

We're going to head back out to Cheaha and Talladega NF if anyone is interested in rolling with us. We're meeting in Leeds off of I-20 at 7:30 and riding until about 2:00. I've GOT to be home by 3:00 to attend a funeral at 5:00. The more the merrier!

Default Dang!!!

Wish I had seen this earlier...well, now that I think about it I guess it wouldn't have mattered! My rear axle track bar bracket sheared off Thursday afternoon so I'm out of commission until the new parts arrive nyway. Hopefully be back rolling within the next two weeks. I'll have to watch a little closer to see when you guys are wheelin somewhere. I'm about 2hrs South of you, but I'm trying to find some places to go. Going with a JKS adjustable bar in the rear and replacing my SkyJacker with a TeraFlex 2.5" Coil Spring Lift. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Good luck with the fix. We would love for you to join us. We have a great time. I got a map of the park in the mail today so the next time we're out we'll have a better idea of where to go. We did pretty well today. I did manage to cut my hand wide open on a branch that was hanging out over the trail. I reached out to break it off and it had other intentions. My Jeep also received a pretty good blow to the rear driver's side door all the way back through the rear quarter panel to the taillight. Luckily it didn't take any paint with it but it's still a nice gouge. I'm going to try to take the door panel off and see if I can bang out the dent. I think the quarter panel is just going to have to live with the blemish. Oh well. I made the choice to take it out there and I guess worse things could have happened.

Well, you can use the old "it just adds character" reasoning to help yourself feel better! I'm going to make it up there at some point when you guys are going. I'm just anxious to get mine back on the road right now. I ordered my parts from Northridge, so it'll likely be Friday of next week before they arrive. I'm going to try to do everything myself (TF lift, front adjustable lower control arms, new front swaybar links) except the rear track bar bracket and brace...unfortunately I can't weld. I checked out the videos from today as well. Looks like some nice trails.
