Default Seat height question

Do any of you know if there is a difference in headroom between the stock fixed seat and the adjustable seat lowered all the way down. I am 6'4'' and could really use an extra inch or two of room between my quarter-million-dollars-worth of education-filled brain and that cross bar. Thanks for any insight.

I would think that it would be equal to the passenger non-adjustable, then yes they are equal.

my only thoughts are this:

if the adjustable seat was worth a crap then it would require it to a have a range above and below the fixed position seat. Common sense would say that the fixed position seat should be in the center of the available heights of the adjustable. This way the adjustable seat helps both taller and shorter people. It just wouldn't make sense to me if the fixed position seat (mine) was equal to the lowest setting of the adjustable one.

Thoughts?
