Ok guys... I know it's extremely short notice but my patrol partner and I are planning on going to Durhamtown this Saturday... The park opens at 9:00 AM and we plan to be there first thing! For the Macon area guys, we are planning to wait approximate 30 minutes for anyone who wants to tag along at the chevron gas station off of exit 169 (hooters) off of I-75, we will be there waiting at 7:30AM sharp. I spoke with staff at Durhamtown and they advised me that there are no gas stations immediately near the park but they DO sell gas at a higher than average price. So might want to bring extra!... We are going basically to check the place out and do "light wheeling" my jeep is still stock... My partner has a chevy with 10+" lift and 37's so he will be the recovery vehicle. If you want to join us in the morning then plan to meet at the above mentioned gas station.
