We had trees all over the place like that around here just a few weeks ago. You probably remember hearing about the storms coming through. We lost several trees from out back and there were dozens down around here. We're pretty sure a tornado went through just never touched down.

We made it through alright. Got to hear the tornado sirens for the first - fourth times The wife and I waited out awhile on a neighbor's porch (he has a basement, we don't). The stepson works in Cumming. He left work about 15min before the early one was projected to come through. Passed by one of the reported touchdown areas about 5min after the tornado. A little white knuckle driving and heavy wind/rain, but he was ok.

We have family and friends in Cumming, Oakwood and Lawrenceville. It was a little worrysome for a while there. But seems everybody is unharmed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who weren't so lucky.

My family and I got caught in a hail storm just north of Columbia SC on Saturday@ around 5PM. About $1500 worth of damage plus a new windshield. We were in the wife's Tahoe. The hood is pretty well trashed the roof has about 8 or 9 large dents.

No one was injured, the damage is just cosmetic.
