i am relatively unexperienced on rocks... but I can hit the bypasses... i need to get some slider by then though

 

For the trails I did, I hardly used my sliders with stock suspension and tires. Your lift and taller tires will help greatly! I had to stack some rocks in some situations!

 

i will be near cherokee oct. 15-18. how far is that from tellico?

 

I take it that you will be in Cherokee, NC which is about 60 miles from Murphy, NC according to MapQuest. Looks like you would take Hwy 129 south.

 

129!! thats the DRAGON. i'll actually be between maggie valley and cherokee. my wife and i were already thinking of trying to do some easy trails there.

For those of you who are considering making the trip to Tellico, PM me and let me know. I'm going to start tracking who is going and look at areas to stay, I plan to camp and want to reserve a location prior to arriving.

If there is anyone who knows where to camp or has information about the Tellico area let me know, PLEASE!

 

Are y'all any closer to picking a date? And does anybody have any info as to what is available in the area as far as RV camping or nearby rental cabins/hotels?
