It's a big show at the local dealership (free Jeep entry with an unwrapped kids toy), admission to just see the vehicles is free.
Free food, a few part vendors, throphies, give aways (tires, wheels, winch, etc)...it's a pretty good time, pretty laid back.
There is a run going to Barnwell the next day...I don't have details on that. I'll pull them off the Bayou forum and throw them up here also.

Looking to get a group together to make a run over to Gilmer October 24th. This will be for all levels of Jeepers who would like to attend. For some this run maybe your first run with us and others it maybe a shakedown run prior to Hot Springs. Once we get to Gilmer we will divide into groups to run the trails.
The plan will be like always to meet at the T/A (exit 5, I-20) around 7a.m. and leave for Gilmer around 7:30 a.m. Normally we start to head back between 3 & 5 p.m. Bring your sandwiches and drinks, lunch will be on the trail.

This is a pretty good place to wheel if you haven't been. Good terrain, not as rocky as Hot Springs but still challenging at all levels.
