Good News! The local dealership that is now selling and servicing Jeep products has agreed to let us hold our 2nd Annual Show N Shine Event at their location. We will be able to hold the show on Saturday, November 7th and the times are TBD. In fact, there will be many more details posted after this Friday's committee meeting. But, rest assured, we will try to have something for everyone and ensure a fun day for the entire family.

As always, we are giving 100% of the show proceeds to charities in our area. There is a tremendous need, so we are hoping for a successful show. As an added effort to help out, we are forgoing the registration fee and asking for a donation of non-perishable food instead. It can be absolutely anything, including pet food. We just ask that each registered Jeep make a donation of some kind.

Here's the information we have so far:

Saturday, November 7th @ Vero Beach Chrysler/Jeep 855 South US 1, Vero Beach

Times: 9 am - 3 pm, with drawings and trophies presentation @ 2 pm.

We have raffle prizes and food will be available at the show. Please check back next week for more show details.

Here's what I don't get.... If it's the Treasure Coast Jeep Club than why not have a meeting spot more centralized on the Treasure Coast? Vero Beach is pretty much the upper most part, it would make more sense to have a meeting more toward PSL or Stuart... Heck, even Ft. Pierce... But Vero.... I dunno, a bit far north IMO.

My neighbor and I were just discussing that club today and were both asking the same question. He used to be in the Jeepers Club before they died off and said he would love to be a pert of the Treasure Coast Club but said they meet too far away, I agreed. I would most likely be involved in a local club myself, if it were more near.

 

It's a show and shine, not a chance to bad mouth a club. I was putting it on this forum because i wanted to extend an invitation to an event. You don't have to join the club, this is a charity event. You don't have to go if you don't want to, but please don't bad mouth my club. Thank you!

 

I never bad mouthed the club. I simply stated that they might have more members if they met in a more centralized area. Otherwise, I would be heading up there to join the fun if I didn't have to work on that day.

 

Personally I am not much for the club scene, too many personalities if you know what I mean. But I have be seeing more and more JK's and TJ's driving all around PSL. This event in Vero sound good though.
