I am planning to take the fiance up for a weekend get-a-way in gatlinburg ONCE its snows ALOT up there!

Anyone in the Gatlinburg, Tennessee area that I could check up with for snow reports???

Any other relatively close snowy locations?

 

i ski.... the fiance does not... been to sugar a long time ago when i was a pup...

I usually ski colorado or utah once a year... the lines at sugar, beach, etc. were always horrendous and the runs too short... how is the city/town in the area? Pretty much we want a weekend of snow covered landscapes... a warm cabin... and great shopping and food (well she wants the shopping and I want the food)

 

not sure about the snow but gatlinburg is great for shopping and FOOD thats where the wife an i got married
