So who is already running these shocks?

I have a set for our JK, but I blew up the front D30 and have to rebuild it before I can test out the new shocks?

I took advantage of this sale! The shocks are nice and firm, soak up the big stuff with ease. These are better than the monotubes I was running prior.

How firm are you talking about, not bone jarring is it? I'm considering either these, Fox or Rock Krawler RRDs. My OMEs are way too soft and I want something that handles well around corners on road but don't skid over bumpy roads.

I haven't run all of these different set-ups, but just upgraded from the Bilstein 5100's, and the 5160's are VERY nice. They seem firmer from a dampening perspective, but the overall ride is much smoother. I am very happy with the change, and have heard that they are pretty similar to the FOX remote reservoirs. At this level, i don't think you can go wrong. I can take my very heavy JK around corners at some pretty high speeds, and it keeps the Jeep flat. They also soak up the big bumps very well, but I have yet to have them off-road since I put them on about a month ago and the trails are snowed in.

I don't think you'll regret getting these....
