Gotcha! Got an e-mail into the engineer to let us know what they installed. (If these the MEGA clamps from DynoMax are in the kit or if they are the u clamp in the sell sheet image and a P/N as well)

So those lap joint clamps (OD to ID application) were used in the first prototype. We used the other one pictured in the sell sheet to keep cost low. These run around 3 times the cost of the ones included in this kit. If you want to get this style, most exhaust shops should carry them or similar item, on the DynoMax side for the 2.5" is PN 33226.
Thanks!

Edited to correct P/N!

I don't think you are being totally honest When showing pictures with the nice clamps and then selling the kit with the low budget clamps. Even though the static picture shows the cheap clamps.

Post pictures installed with the crappy clamps so everyone knows how it looks so they can decide if they want to budget for the good stuff, or include the deluxe clamps in the kit and raise the price to cover it.

Doing it the way you have it now is BS.

Thanks!
That PN seems to be for DynoMax 2.25", not 2.5"...which is the one we would need in going with that style clamp?

It's just an exhaust clamp. As long as there are no exhaust leaks who cares about pretty exhaust clamps. They have shown the supplied clamps in stock photo from the beginning.

Rancho: When will these ship?

Yes better clearance than spacers.

Sorry you feel this way, I answered the question about the clamps used in our prototype being the more expensive ones. These clamps run around $25 +- and we want to keep this as reasonable as possible. If you want you can buy this type of clamp at most exhaust shops.

GOOD EYE! I was looking at the wrong line on the spread sheet. I corrected in the post the correct P/N. 33226

They are available now and should ship right away. I know someone found them on Quadratec's site. Here are the vendors names and they should be able to give you more info on cost, etc.
Fuzzy™, kutios, meeper, Mudjocky, QUADJEDI, QuadPhotoRep, quadratec, QuadRep, rubyred

Rancho,
I appreciate you coming up with a solution at an affordable price.
Yes, I agree the clamps you selected for the finished product work perfectly fine and keep costs down without sacrificing performance at all. I have no problem paying for the other style if I decide I want them instead. Thanks for identifying the part numbers for those who might want them.

Easy install, and get the clearance as well!
The clamps used on this kit were on the prototype and are not the clamps that ship with the kit.

This looks like a better solution than the spacers I have now. My only concern is that the exhaust pipe now drops below the skid bars and plates??? AND will it interfere with any aftermarket skids I put on?
