Great job Yates. I like the tail lights, but I would rather not have a license plate holder if that was an option.

This is great feedback. We need to know what people's preferences are, and I can tell you we are split amoung ourselves (it's actually R&D vs. Marketing). Thanks ROBAR. I've PMd you as well.

I, like a lot of other people have relocated the license plate and a license plate mount or hole would be something else to cover up.

Will the rear bumper be offered in a stubby if possible? Like mentioned above, it would look better stubby w/ flats.

I definitely like this bumper with the lights in it. But I have a question about the lights. I've noticed that a complaint about bumpers with lights in them is that the bumper has to be removed in order to replace the lights. Which wouldn't be a big deal except the lights that come in them don't last long and are blowing with relatively low usage. Does the bumper need to come off in order to replace the lights and if so, what is the life expectancy of the ones that will come with the bumper?

As for now there's no plan to do a "stubby" rear. The stubbies are needed in the front on a lifted JK so that the larger tires don't rub. In the rear there's plenty of clearance and I've not heard of any issues. If enough JKers are looking for this we will definitely look into making one, but currently not on the drawing board.

Hey Denny,

I was in your neck of the woods this past weekend! Had Saturday & Sunday tickets to the Masters (Augusta, GA). I think I mentioned to you that in the 1970s I lived in Montgomery, AL... well I've become a low humidity puss. Ninety degrees and Ninety-Five percent humidity is a KILLER. Great people though and the tournament was fun to watch.

You can access the lights from underneath, so it's a pretty simple fix. As for life expectancy, I'm not certain. I just started testing mine, and Steve has had his for about 3 months. I hope we are talking years because these lights aren't cheap. The pair add about $120 to the bumper! (with brackets, seals, wire looms and such).

Looks great! Really like the addition of lights, I've been brainstorming how to add lights to my OR-FAB rear bumper. I also have the stubby OR-FAB front bumper...just need matching rock rails, sport cage, and tire carrier! One day...
