This is what I sent with their reply following. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they don't scrap the idea. Also they responded to all my emails in less then 24hrs. Great customer service.

It's been 8 months since I first asked about the Geri mount, and over 3 years since you posted pictures on JK-form of the prototype. Any word?

I realize it has reached the point of ridiculous. I apologize for that. Here is the latest. The 2 can mount system couldn't be made stable enough, so we know that won't be out for several months at best, perhaps not until we have a gen 3 carrier.
The design for the single can mount is still in process. Since we can't sell our gas cans in the USA, we are making a universal single can mount that should work with our competitors cans as well as our water cans.
Since the EPA rulings we can only sell water cans in the US. Demand for those cans is very low, so the mounting system had to become a lower priority so our design team can focus on items that will actually bring in money. When we promised mounting systems we did not know that it was not feasible for us to get EPA compliance at this time.
Again, I apologize. Government regulations changed our plans.
