Why does crap always go on sale after I order it........I live in Phoenix, AZ so I ordered a set of the headliners for my 2010 rubicon unlimited. I ordered them on Wednesday and had them on Saturday. They were well packaged but I was somewhat concerned after seeing the thickness of the liner. It took me under 30 minutes to install the kit. The instructions said to wait 12 hours before subjecting the jeep to direct sunlight. It was 109 on Saturday so I installed the kit on Saturday and rolled the jeep into the sun on Sunday. It was 111 or 112 on Sunday. My concern over the liner thickness was unfounded.
The headliners look good and cut the heat dramatically. Prior to installation it took a good 10 minutes for the top to stop emitting heat into the passenger compartment. After installation it only took 30 seconds to 1 minute for the a/c to cool the passenger compartment. This was at a high so far of 115 after sitting in direct sunlight.
Phoenix in the summer is one step from hell.....If this kit works here it will work anywhere. I am pleased with the fit and quality and the order to install time was excellent. I am ony one state away but the shipping was free. They give a finished look to the underside of the top.
I would strongly recommend this kit if you live in any kind of a warm climate.
Great product.

Thanks for the review AZRubicon. I was on the fence about getting something like this as Tucson is one step below Phoenix's one step from hell's heat. Glad to see that it cured up in time as it's hard to get out of the heat or sun this time of year...especially when my jeep is much too tall to fit in the garage.
Now, my question for the OP/vendor (or anyone else in the know): Are these kits trimmable at all? My Garvin roof rack's mounting plates and bolts are in the outboard most paneling of the middle and rear sections of my unlimited. Therefore, I would have to trim 3-4" off the ends of a couple of pieces and I'm curious if this would cause a problem at all?

Madhatter,
I lived in Tucson for 6 years. These would do well there. The panels fit directly in the recessed area of the top. I assume the fabric is glued onto the panels and the it is upholstery stapled under. I think if you are careful you could detach and peel back the fabric to trim the panel material where you needed to and then re-attach the fabric. My guess is if you made a cardboard template and mailed it to Ambrose he would custom cut and cover the panel you needed. I could be way off base but based on their service and activity in the JK community I bet they would do it. There may be an additional charge but what the heck.

I'm in Waddell, Az , just west of Hell.
what a differance these make! zero problems.
As to your question "why do they always go on sale after I bought them"? well,, I think it's a plot! I payed full dime for my full kit -unlimited robicon 4-door- and to be honest, they were still a good deal at full price, and I'd buy them again if I had too.
