Hypertech was recently contacted by a few Jeep Wrangler customers who's vehicles would start after reprogramming but then shut off after a few seconds. Using the Max Energy to return the vehicle back to stock got the Jeeps back up and running, but without our tuning.
After thorough testing, the issue was pinpointed to one specific factory calibration we mishandled. This problem has been corrected and a new version of the program in the Max Energy has been released. Hypertech regrets any inconvenience this might have caused our customers. We encourage our customers to update their programmers to the newest version available on the internet. If you have any concerns please contact our technical support @ 1 800 532-3351 and ask to speak to either Kenny Hatchel or Jimmy Harsson.

It sounds like you'd know right away if there was a problem. But, can you post what version and calibration was affected. I just updated the firmware the other day and I want to make sure there is no issue.

After updating mine to the latest download I get the run for 10 sec and then die. I would say you still have issues and will be calling on Monday. I will have to run around in stock until then.
