JK Gear Install $999.99 at SLC
#36
I have... left two voice mails and a couple of PMs... I know they've been busy - so just waiting on Sean to get back with me . Since I noticed some replies back from SLC here, figured I'd post it here just in case they hadn't checked their PMs. Thanks.

Well I'm one of the ones causing the chaos! Sean ( thank you ) called me today and they're working on my baby right now. I'll get her back on Monday.. I can't wait to drive it.
I'm having the gear swap done there, install my JKS ACOS for me, and install adj track bars. Should be good to go and I'm sure it'll be done right.

Dang, everyone else is happy about this sale - and that makes me do a facepalm.
I saw that gears were only like $200 on the quadratec site, and didn't even imagine that installation would be so expensive. I'm going to have to delay my tire upgrade :(

That's good info Neal. I haven't really looked in to this regearing much - I only realized I 'needed' to do it a few days ago, when I changed my mind about going to 33s and decided to go to 35s instead.
With only ~1200 miles on my JK, I was looking at just the ring & pinions, I didn't think I'd need a 'rebuild' kit also. What I really need is to find a good Jeep shop out here in western Washington that can do some of this stuff that requires more tools / time than I have (like this gearing, and a full lift kit)
