On the 21 I am not seeing any threads on the side for the Strike Force Zebra mount or your other side mounting to screw into? Are they there and just covered by a cap?

 

Our lights have a slot for a bolt to be mounted on the side. They slide in from the front and back. See below for a better visual explanation.

 

Sweeet!!! I wont be getting it till christmas. Im either going to do a under the stubby front bumper or a hood mount. I just havent decided what will fit better yet. I may even change my mind before then! Thanks again. Ill try and do somewhat of a review once everything is done!

 

also, my fogs are not being used and probably will never have another set of foglights on this one. Can I buy a male connector and just plug and play on either left or right side? Or will i get the dreaded flicker from the can bus system?

I can't say for certain if our lights would produce flickering behavior when plugged into the factory fogs. This is also largely dependent on which of our lights you want to plug in. From the light reading I've done..the CAN BUS system uses PWM to drive the halogen fogs. I'm assuming the flickering is likely caused by the PWM frequency being too low, and thus some people might see flickering when they use their LED based lights. Or, maybe the computer is lowering the frequency when it senses a lot lower current draw that LED lights would cause. If that's the case, you could fix the flicker with a resistor and a heat sink. We'd have to experiment more to give you a conclusive answer. Anyone want to offer up their JK so we can test?

Ordered the 21" and a couple 6" bars for my gobi rack (front and rear)....will post some pics when it all comes.

There is not bar clamp option for the 6" bars just the cradle mount. They were very prompt in correcting my mistake in ordering and hopefully i get these things soon
