New Goodyear MTR with Kevlar
I am interested in getting these tires. I was wheeling with a forum member who has them and they preformed GREAT.
I would like these
33X12.50R15LT 108Q OWL 8.5 - 11.0 10.00 12.5 32.8 2,205 @ 35
But not sure on a couple things like what does the LT stand for and the 108Q?
Can these be rotated like normal tires?
Does this model have the Kevlar sidewalls?
thanks
Dave

The LT stands for Light Truck. Light Truck tires have more materials (plys) built in for durability off road and for load carrying capacity. The 108 is the load index which means this particular tire can handle up to 2,205 lbs at max pressure (35psi). See the chart linked below...
Load Index
The Q is the speed rating. Speed rating determines a few different things but is mostly recognized for the max speed of the tire. Here's a chart with more details...

The Goodyear Wrangler MTR w/Kevlar uses an asymmetrical nondirectional tread pattern meaning it can be rotated from side to side. All the MTR's w/Kevlar use the Dupont Kevlar reinforced sidewall.
I hope this helps
This ain't gonna be much help, but it's all I got. 5243 miles (80% highway, 15% city...offroad once) and they still measure with a tread guage damn near the same as the same as the day I bought em...19/32 new....18.5/32 or thereabout now...
Thanks for the update BaltChief!
My 37x12.50x17 were installed Tuesday. So far I'm loving them -- much quieter than the Rubi BFGs that were on there before the lift. Even with 4.5" of lift, I'm getting some rubbing at full lock in turns, so I guess I'll have to cut the front bumper as well as the fenders.
