Don't know for sure. I haven't head yet if goodyear will be phasing out the origional Mt/R or not. I figure so, thats what most of the manufactures do when they update a tread design.

The reinforced Kevlar sidewalls sound awesome but if your talking about looks of the tire I think the older MTR design is hard to beat.

Gotta say, I like the Dura Trac idea. Big lugs and lots of sipes. That's a winning combo in the snow. Can't wait to see the pricing.

well not seeing it in person, i think the new MTR's look pretty lame compared to the old ones. There looks to be 4 ro 5 different lugs on this one? the duratrac almost looks better IMHO. the MTR looks like 4 tires in one.
