NEW ORA Night Guard LED Headlights
#11
"Built to the specifications of Department of Transportation."
Does this means the are DOT approved? No chance of being ticketed?
Great looking lights at a very competitive price. As of now they look like my #1 choice for LED headlights after those little issues are corrected.
Good luck!

First of all on our Jeep we have never once been flashed by the hundreds of cars we've passed at night, including very low cars and multiple police cars. I have also personally passed them in another vehicle at night, and the low beam pattern does very well to not "blind" other drivers. This is subjective to the vehicle as well; lift height etc.
That being said I did not actually answer your question of legality. Our manufacturer has made these to meet the requirements of the Department of Transportation. Keep in mind this is federally regulated in the United States. The headlights are not however certified with a stamp on the headlight lens.
Would this ever cause a problem? Probably not. Headlights are not something you would usually get pulled over for if they are aimed correctly and are both on and working. They would rather stop you if one light is out because of the safety hazard. Has a policeman ever looked to see if there is a stamp on your headlights?
Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Flickering and radio interference? How much of a interference are we talking about here? It sounds like these are still in testing and not actually for sale units

The flicker is not a problem and is not noticeable on the road. However some people would rather have the small flicker nonexistent (and I don't blame them!) which is why we will soon have anti flicker harnesses as well.
Edit: Refer to the original post for current updates.
Thank you for your constructive criticism we really appreciate it. We stand behind our customers and value their opinion. Thanks!
