the pan is just as wide as stock. it won't be any worse or better clearnce then your stocker. if your haveing trouble hitting the pan with the shaft i can tell you mine is taking the abuse. i have my axle just off center towards driver side and still barely hit with a aftermarket shaft (1310). i replaced my stocker (ripped it open with the shaft) with this one and havent had a problem with the new pan for over 6 months of use now. very nice product and worth the coin. the stock skid is in the scrap pile and i no longer hit it either. two birds with one stone is always a good thing. plus you get no trans loss on the steep stuff if you got the balls to take it.

Hey RK, if this trans pan is still avalable could you PM me the price and shiping to zip #74469, and directions on how to order it. I think this will make a good first modification to my new jeep.

Doesn't taking off the cross member / skid plate expose things like the drive shaft and transfer case to rock damage? I am talking New England rocks, not desert rock.
