Welcome. I'm in the market for some underbody 2012 JKU skids and yours look nice. I have a couple of questions.

Do you have button head bolts or tapered bolt heads for your skids, so they don't get hung up on rocks? Your website photos look like you are reusing the stock bolts.

I was also wondering if you have a gas tank skid to go with the engine skid, t-case skid, and exhaust loop skid?

Thanks,

James

We are using the stock mounting locations, therefore the stock bolts, as we haven't found a flat socket head screw available in the 1.5 pitch size of the stock bolts readily available. There is also a trade-off in using socket head cap screws because they are easy to strip and therefore difficult to remove after any length of time under a vehicle.

A gas tank skid is something that we haven't designed yet.

Oil changes with the skid in place will be mess free if you us a small funnel or tray of some sort (a cut open motor oil bottle works great.) The location of the drain hole is a compromise between the 2011 and down and the 2012 and up models, as for cost reasons we only wanted to have one design. This keeps prices down to you. The hole is actually open to the drain plug on all models, but I can't guarantee that there will be no splashing on top of the skid itself.
