May 1st of 2009 JKS upgraded the Front trackbars to a thicker material, Less bends and a better material. They are now made out of 4130 chromoly that is .375 thick

The upgrade is available right now for $25 shipped to your door

It does not come with adjustable end that gets reused.

If you ordered a front JKS trackbar after May 1st of 2009 you do not need this upgrade.

Ordered mine. Thanks for the heads up David. I am guessing this is something JKS decided to do due to flexing of the old style ones?

Thanks David, just ordered mine. If you remember, a while ago (about a year) I called you about my JKS trackbar flexing and even posted up videos here. I'm anxious to see if this fixes the problem. Any idea what the older bars were made of and their thickness?

Out of curiousity is there any plans for the rear trackbar to be upgraded?

Just to be clear this is only needed for trackbars Before May 1st 0f 2009. They upgraded the bar 1 year ago.

No need for a rear upgrade we have never had a issue with those at all.

I am pretty sure it was standard DOM and the new one is 4130 chromoly.

I am not sure on the thickness I would say 1/2 as thick as the new one. But that is a guess. The new one is really stout.
