The older Rigid Dually's used the same plug as the factory harness so they are basically plug and play but Rigid recently changed over to using a Deutsch plug so if you get a newer version, you will have to cut or change the plugs. There is some discussion about making a pigtail that will connect the Deutsch to the factory harness though.
Looks good. If you would have started manufacturing them back then, you probably could have made some money. The key to these isn't the faceplate though. That just makes them look pretty. The real work of art is the bracket that goes on the inside of the bumper. It is set up so that you can reverse it and run it on bumpers regardless of mounting depth, from flush mount on.

Yeah I looked at the time it takes to make one and the cost it is and Id have to make a lot to just make a little money, unless I would charge a tremendous about that would be really over priced.
I may just give out my c-n-c specs to the public to allow anyone that has access to a mill to be able to make their own. That way a guy would just have time into the making of theirs
Yeah my design utilizes the stock bracket the ridged dually comes with and keeping it recessed a little bit allows a person to rotate it and align it fairly easily. Really no trade secret in mounting as long as theres a mounting tab available which is easily welding on it needed
