Default PA Body Lift/Leveling Sneak Peak

The R & D folks at Performance Accessories have be toying with the notion of an inexpensive body lift/leveling combo kit. Since they released their 1" body lift for the JK in 2006 they have received many requests for a 2" body lift (mainly by people wanting to run 38" and over tires).

So what they are currently testing is the pictured JK. This jeep has a 1 3/4" Leveling kit and a 2" body lift with 35" tires. They've also included gap guards into the mix so that you don't see so much gap (I personally don't like the idea of a 2" body lift, but the gap guards do help the appearance a great deal).

When they release this kit there will be two kits, one for automatic transmissions and one for standard transmissions. The standard transmission kit will have a shifter link that will replace the stock link. This will eliminate the tub interference issue.

I'm currently looking to purchase a body lift and undecided on which one to get. Do you have any other pictures to show where they filled in the gaps that the body lifts creates?

Thanks

This is a vehicle shot we are going to be using in an upcoming JP magazine ad (Dec 2008 issue). This jeep has our 1 3/4" leveling kit and 2" body lift.

Above the bumper you can see the urethane gap guard, which does help the bodies tie-in more visually. I should also mention that BFG was kind enough to donate the 35" KM2 tires for this Jeep so that we could test this product with the types of tires many folks will probably be using.

Any chance you have a pic of the back of it? I'm curious to see the gap for the rear bumper.

Any way to order the shifter link seperately?

Steve found a pretty good photo of the rear of the Jeep with the gap guards installed.
