That's not actually silver, its just bare steel. That's the only way we ship them. You might check with some of our dealers, some of them handle powder coating locally. Thanks!

Just how much psi will it take before pulling apart with just that weld ?? A constant pull ok but with a sudden jerk i'd be a little leary buy breaking the weld or bending the bumper on top...

There are hundreds of BFH Bumpers in use all over the country and we haven't seen a shackle tab failure yet. But nothing is indestructible, and we're sure there is a limit to their strength but it has not been found yet (we do not have the proper lab testing equipment to test it to find a definitive, scientific limit). As with any recovery operation it is up to the user to rig everything safely and effectively. But so far real world results show that these hold up very well.

In our opinion, the Spyder Direct prices on all of our parts are a "deal" all the time!

LOL...seriously though, we only do one "Special" per month (except for the occasional intro pricing on new products), and we typically don't even know what the next month's special will be until a day or two before the beginning of the new month. So I can't say if or when a special on any particular part will happen. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
