Sorry folks, got my inbox cleared out a bit!
nucknphuts, I honestly don't know how feasible that would be on this bumper due to the design. An angle grinder would make a nicer cut than a torch if you don't have access to a plasma cutter. The thing is, if you take a close look, the winch recess would interfere with where the light locations are located.
EzK, this would meet your needs perfectly. You get a lightweight great looking bumper, but one that is strong like the big heavy bulky ones already on the market.

No grinding or cutting required. I do highly recommend the optional $79 skid for the electronic sway bar disconnect though. Cheap insurance!

I am seriously looking at getting the LOD Gen 3 bumper and tire carrier, as well as an LOD front bumper. Do you have any news on if they will be releasing a similar lightweight / new design style for the rear?
And I may have missed it, but when are these planned to start shipping?
