Yes, not D2's. D2's are brighter, but the duallys will give you more distance.

Default install help

psyched i just received my duallys ready for the install. had a few questions for anyone willing to offer a helping hand. my electrical experience is limited so please bear with me, i noticed there isn't a ground hookup is this normal? can i just connect the positive and negative terminals and its all good?
i also want to hook up the switch so it lights up when my dash it lit up, now when i installed my compressor switch i spliced into a wire behind the climate control knobs. is there any other way to accomplish this, or does the switch illuminate only when the lights are on?

Would recommend sending John with ORW a private Message, I just ordered a set the other day but it was all contingent on inventory levels. He has been great to this forum, just send him a PM he responds rather quickly.

You can splice into the cigarette lighter behind the dash. Tap into the positive wire on the left cigarette lighter, then whenever you turn your jeep on it will illuminate. The dually lights are very simple. Positive wire red, negative wire is black. Red should connect from your switch, Black can be grounded anywhere on the vehicle

thanks ac1brooks so the black is basically the ground, i was thinking that. and for the cig lighter tap would i tap that with the positive wire on the switch?

that is right, will go from the power source (cig lighter) to the switch, to the lights. then the black wire (ground) from the lights to the body anywhere with a solid ground contact.
