Once formed, they are set up in a jig and robotically welded to ensure a leak-free seal that will last for the life of the differential and beyond. The cover features a ring that will prevent the fill plug from damage. The HD construction even helps reinforce the differential housing and prevents the casting from deflection under extreme loads. This is the best USA-made differential cover that money can buy! We could call them bulletproof, and they are, but other have already made those claims with cheap imported covers. Rusty's new JK long travel kit is the result of many hours of computer-aided design, prototyping in the shop, and extensive testing on teh street and on the trail. We use our proven radius arm system in the front as well as the rear, something we had previously used only on local custom vehicles. Unlike many other JK long-arm systems, Rusty's JK system can be installed in just about any garage, but note that it does require welding.
We spent many hours developing our new long travel mounting brackets using our keyed and tabbed bracket technology. In simple terms, the .25" thick brackets are laser cut and CNC formed. Once formed on the press brake, the keyed and tabbed technology bracket simply snap together like a puzzle. This means precision fit and exact placement of all the individual components that make up the mounting brackets without the use of a jig.
The massive Rusty's control arms are constructed of 2" DOM tubing and use our Forged Flex Joints. These joints are adjustable to dial in castor and pinion angles, and can be serviced as well as rebuilt. Both the lower arm and the upper links are adjustable.
Due to the factory-style driveshafts that use Rezeppa-syle non-serviceable U-joints, we strongly recommend doing a driveshaft conversion for both front and rear driveshafts.

If you own a 2007-2011 Jeep Wrangler JK, it’s not a question of if, but when, the evaporative canister will get damaged or entirely ripped off on the trail. For some reason the factory mounted the canister in an extremely vulnerable spot on the undercarriage near the middle of the vehicle. There are some relocation kits on the market that move the low-hanging canister to a safer location, but this can cause check engine lights and also may not be legal in some states. Fortunately, Rusty’s Off-Road Products has an affordable solution that keeps the canister protected without altering the factory emissions system.
The emissions control system on the Jeep JK is extremely sensitive and will cause the check engine light to illuminate when it thinks there’s even the tiniest of problems. The evaporative canister (sometimes called the charcoal canister) is a critical part of the emissions system, yet Jeep engineers mounted it in a location where it is virtually guaranteed to get snagged by rocks and other obstacles on the trail. Damage to the canister can cost hundreds of dollars to fix, not to mention causing a lot of aggravation.

If you own a 2007-2011 Jeep Wrangler JK, it’s not a question of if, but when, the evaporative canister will get damaged or entirely ripped off on the trail. For some reason the factory mounted the canister in an extremely vulnerable spot on the undercarriage near the middle of the vehicle. There are some relocation kits on the market that move the low-hanging canister to a safer location, but this can cause check engine lights and also may not be legal in some states. Fortunately, Rusty’s Off-Road Products has an affordable solution that keeps the canister protected without altering the factory emissions system.
The emissions control system on the Jeep JK is extremely sensitive and will cause the check engine light to illuminate when it thinks there’s even the tiniest of problems. The evaporative canister (sometimes called the charcoal canister) is a critical part of the emissions system, yet Jeep engineers mounted it in a location where it is virtually guaranteed to get snagged by rocks and other obstacles on the trail. Damage to the canister can cost hundreds of dollars to fix, not to mention causing a lot of aggravation.
Rusty’s Evaporative Canister Skid Plate provides effective and affordable protection without the need to alter any of the factory emissions system. So you already have a suspension kit and now you want a long arm kit? This is your kit! This is the same long travel arms and bolt-on brackets offered in our JK Bolt-On Long Travel Kit.
Rusty's JK long travel kit is the result of many hours of computer-aided design, prototyping in the shop, and extensive testing on the street and on the trail. We use our proven radius arm system in the front as well as the rear, something we had previously used only on local custom vehicles. Unlike many other JK long-arm systems, Rusty's JK system can be installed in just about any garage, but note that it does require welding.
We spent many hours developing our new long travel mounting brackets using our keyed and tabbed bracket technology. In simple terms, the .25" thick brackets are laser cut and CNC formed. Once formed on the press brake, the keyed and tabbed technology bracket simply snap together like a puzzle. This means precision fit and exact placement of all the individual components that make up the mounting brackets without the use of a jig.
The massive Rusty's control arms are constructed of 2" DOM tubing and use our Forged Flex Joints. These joints are adjustable to dial in castor and pinion angles, and can be serviced as well as rebuilt. Both the lower arm and the upper links are adjustable.

Rusty's newest version of our popular JK long travel kit is a bolt-on system. It uses many of the same components as our popular weld-on system but offers an easier installation for those that don't have the necessary welding skills and equipment. It's just as strong as our weld-on kit, and just like the rest of our products, it's trail-tested tough!
