Default Tuffy Security Deck Enclosure Pictures

After much anticipation, the Tuffy Security Deck Enclosure is finally in its final version. This is a product that has been asked about for a long time and finally with the help of some JK Forum members input, Tuffy has designed a really cool solution for locking storage in the rear of the JK that can be easily removed, is capable of carrying gear on top and provides a huge securable storage area. More details are available on the Tuffy web site:

Some of the Tuffy dealers also have the information up and are taking orders for this exciting new product.

Here are some pictures:

wouldnt want that (looks like fridge) to go into the back of my head in a frontal collision

I was looking to build something very similar. Glad Tuffy did it first. Mine is on order. I was told 2 - 3 weeks on delivery. Looking forward to getting it installed so my stuff will be safe. I had $700-$800 of stuff stolen out of my Jeep within hours of buying it.

There are a couple of different optional tie down accessories that can be used to secure a load that is in the top tray.

they do have some tie downs brackets that mount on their drawers and it looks like you could mount them on the cover of that, I have the rails on my drawer.

My concern was what to do when I carry something taller than the height above or below the locking deck lid.....now that is answered with this product. You simply open the lid back, which gives what looks like in the picture, at least a foot or two of vertical clearance.
