Will it make my jeep fly? That would be awesome.

The only worry I have about the hood level mushroom design is that is a very easy place for water to roll up on, and kind of defeats the snorkle idea.

I would like to see the end piece of the snorkle run parrallel with the a-piller. it wouldn't stand out as much and would flow better with the lines of the Jeep.

Factory colors would be nice so that it would blend better. I would also like to see a drain function and maybe an internal bypass/cutoff like the AEM cold air filters have, call it a CYA when going through loads of water or rain.

Price would be under $400 and up to $450 color matched. Heat transfer on a metal design might hurt performance so I would opt for plastic or CF, which might be way to high and throw costs out the window.

I also have an idea for a mid-hood mount if your interested, that would look much like a rally roof scoop.

Was leaning towards a RR snorkel for the X-mas list... thank god I found this first!!! Can't wait to see pictures... definitly want the "low profile" look of the shroom, but want the "deeper water" option! I love the modular ideas! Thanks for taking all the input everyone provided!

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking the other snorkels were a little overkill for a DD...

Well we have been given the green light for full development work to start....

As you can tell from SEMA we had a number of projects to get dialed in before moving on to the next project.... Along with the Snorkel we are also working on another off-road product that I'm glad to see us do....

I know you guys want pictures and I'm chomping at the bit as well... Just give me a little time. It will be worth it... When we have worked out all the (under hood) details we will be focusing in on the visual aspect.... I'm sure we are going to want some good customer feedback at that time.

Good question I've read that it will be compatible with a dual battery setup so I'm assuming that would mean a relocation would not be required.

No relocation of stock battery or dual battery setup.
