No modification or location change for the battery or fuse block will be needed.

As a side note..... How many of you (who do regular water crossings -mud holes) do service maintenance after each crossing, or do you figure the warranty should cover it?

Just asking a stupid question...
Care to post an updated ETA or status on development?

For others, RR can't post a number of inches, becasue that depends on your tires and lift as well.

usually depends on the type of crossing, If it's deep and I was in it for a while then I check things out and give them a good flush. If I just drive through it and it's not DEEP I don't. (DEEP= above tires)

can't wait till this drops, have the $$$ waiting for it.

We are finalizing tooling cost and should be in the last stages of development in the next few weeks. If everything goes perfect I can see this to market by mid-late summer at this time. I have made it my personal goal to have it to market no later than SEMA this year. That would put us at a year to take from idea (drawings), forum request for input, design and building of first foam core and wood prototype, to CAD, Macaroni prototypes, and to tooling up... Besides, it's not like this has been the only thing we have been working on. Later this year we will have a big roll out of a new product that has taken a lot of our engineering time. Have not been able to let the cat out of the bag but some of you guys will say ... It's about time!

Looks good, I was very excited at first when I saw the original drawings, but then kind of disappointed when I found out you wont be able to use a windshield mounted light with the high intake.

But....the intake has the 4 bolts on top, maybe you could fab up some kind of mount that goes into those 4 bolts that will allow us to mount a windshield light on top? Throw in a few rubber isolators/washers to prevent rubbing onto the snorkel and movement of light.

I think that would make people happy and more willing to buy the snorkel since many JKer's have windshield mounted lights.

If I'm wrong at least I would like this!! haha

Drew up a quick picture . Sorry I'm not the best artist but hopefully the idea gets across. Made sure to use RR lights

I think thats a great idea dizk. While I was looking at your modified picture I noticed another issue I (and others) will have. The high intake snorkle is going to be tough to use with the Gobi roof rack. The front arms come down and bolt into the factory holes in the same place, and the Gobi's arms are very tight there so I dont think it would be easy to use both, maybe Im wrong, but I had to litterally hang on the side of my Jeep to pull the arms apart so the front light bar piece would squeeze on. But its like everything else, everyone cant have everything and I like the design of the low intake and safatri style low rise, So Ill make due. Again, good idea about the lights though.

Thank you, I hope RR thinks the same

I looked at the roof rack you have not sure what you could do since you said it was a tight squeeze. If possible I'd put the RR snorkel bracket under the roof rack bracket with maybe some padding so they wouldn't rub. I don't know if that is possible since you said it was a tight squeeze but it's the only way it could possibly work I think.

I'd just run it right under the cowl with some extra slack if I ever needed to remove teh snorkel.

Basically, the way I have mine now is that the wire runs between the cowl and middle piece and under it into the engine compartment. I'd leave it like that but just add a little slack because the mount would be forward a little bit.

Me too! I don't know a cleaner way to do it.
