Default ‘08 Jeep Rubicon, 2 Door, JK- 35s or 37s?

I just installed a RC 3.5” lift (I found out after
that it’s not the very best). Anyway, it’s done now and so far I really like it. I also have 2” spacers on the hubs. Can I run 37” tires or should I just buy 35”s?

You can run 37's but be aware that it'll come with additional costs to run them properly. 35's are a safer/ easier bet- depending on your usage. Is it going to be on the trails or just a show toy?

Said everyone that has installed a RC lift……

Ya got what ya got so make the best of it. Springs and shocks are what they are. The worst part is the drop pitman arm if that has been installed on your jeep. It’s much better to raise the axle side mount for the drag link by flipping it to the top of the knuckle than it is to lower the frame side mount via drop pitman, which is a common practice on a pickup truck. Anyhooooow….I’d stick with 35s, but it’s just my opinion. You can run 37s with that if you want, but outside of looks, you’re not improving anything, just creating more stress and issues to address.

37's on a 3.8 motor is going to suck, even more if you have an auto transmission. Gearing should be addressed if you are going 37's. Figure in $1500-2000 for gears.
