Default 2011 Rubicon

I am currently on my 5th Jeep with my latest being a 2011 Rubicon. Last weekend as I was out and playing in the mud, as soon as I hit a big hole that had alot of water in it my Jeep lost all power and I really had to hit the throttle to even keep it running but after awhile everything was fine. Later I went through another and stepped out of my Jeep right after and it died and I couldn't get it to start back. After many attempts the only way I could start it was by putting it in 4 low so that I didn't have to depress the clutch. What could this problem be. I've never had anything like this happen with any of my other Jeeps and this one has less than 5000 miles so it's brand new. WTF!

Just trouble shooting here, but my first check would be with the clutch. Did it get fouled some how with the water and mud? Is there a sensor loose which works with the clutch? Not sure. Also, were you going quickly through the water? The only way I would do that is with a snorkel. When I was reading your thread I was worried you had hydro locked it, but shifting into 4low seems to kill that concern. Wish I could do more. Hope you track down the issue.

Cheers!
