It's a badge of honor on all jeeps. But if you want it covered I have a Warrior Products complete cowl cover for sale. It would cover the dent up entirely.

Bought my JK brand new in 08. As soon as I got it home I parked it in the driveway and started removing the doors and hard top. With the top almost off and the door tensioners taken off my wife walked out and flung my drivers side door open.... Badge earned... It's now 2012 and I won't fix it, I just use the story of how she broke my childhood dream on day one as a way to continue to mod!!!! I love my wife!

Yeah I have mine on the passenger side from the hold strap making its way off the door. Oh well, I do keep considering installing Warrior Products rivet on smooth black steel cowl.
